Priest Lake - Indian Creek Anchorage

Indian Creek Anchorage Just to the west of Indian Creek Bay bay is a narrow, secluded bay that offers protection from the wave action of the main lake. It is a great place where you could tuck back into for protection. We were there on a weekend and some of the locals were unhappy about our presence. They came in with their ski boats and jet skis and spun circles around us, watching for our reaction the whole time. They were not heeding the "no wake within 200 feet of shore" rule. There was nothing on the map that indicated we should not be there, nor were there any signs posted as to any privacy, however, we did feel unwelcome there.

It is a great little bay. We anchored for the night in 10 feet of water with a nice sand and mud bottom. Getting the anchor hauled the next morning was a chore as it really dug in.
