Cavanaugh's is a great lunch or dinner stop. They are located at the southern tip of Cavanaugh Bay.
The Barbeque is terrific! They also have sandwiches and steaks. For the boater coming off the lake,
they offer food and fuel. If you are a cabin guest, there is also moorage for a boat. The ramp and
launch area will not serve as a place to launch a sailboat, as the ramp is very short and shallow.
While visiting at Cavanaugh's, take a walk around the area. Just across the road is a 3,000 foot grass
landing strip. It is fun to see, but stay clear of the field and watch for approaching aircraft.
