Lake Pend Oreille - Bayview

Bayview, the major town at the south end of the lake is a fun place to visit. It is the the home of the Bitter End Marina and MacDonalds Hudson Bay Resort. There are a few restaurants, stores, gas station and motel in town as well. MacDonalds Hudson Bay Resort is worth the visit. This is a private marina with some guest moorage available. There is a ramp at this location, but special arrangements must be made for trailer storage. They have gas and a small store with ice, snacks and tackle. One of the fun things to see is the unique boat storage and living accomodations. The second photo shows the front of these "boat houses."
