Payette Lake - North Beach

This is another place we did not visit but understand it is a nice place to go. It is located at the northern most part of the lake and is very shallow with a sandy bottom. A popular way to anchor is to use both bow and stern anchors. This allows you to get the stern in fairly shallow water (assuming you can crank up the keel) making it easy to jump off and walk to shore. Never having been there, I do not have any insight on how well it is protected from the weather.
