Payette Lake - Lily Pads at Pilgrim Cove

Lily Pads at Pilgrim Cove The Lily Pads at Pilgrim Cove is a great place to spend the night. It is very well protected, especially from the strong north west winds that sometimes blow. It has quite a large area in which to drop the anchor into a flat mud bottom. Expect the depth to range from 2 feet to 10 feet depending on the season, so be careful and watch the depth sounder. The only downside to this anchorage is that it is pretty much surrounded by private land, so getting off the boat may not be a good option. On the north side of the small bay is a Girl Scout camp, but there are "private land" signs in the area.
