Payette Lake - Campground Dock

The campground dock is located north of the city dock and south of the deep draft ramp.
This is a nice place to stop for lunch, but overnighting is not recommended due to storms
that tend to blow in from the northwest. It will give you a chance to get out and stretch
your legs a bit after an afternoon's sail. Located just above the docks is one of the
Ponderosa campgrounds. There are shower houses available, but you must pay for these at
the visitors center. The cost of showers in 2000 was $3 per person.
